Nightmare to work with. I contacted Terry Hightower on November 3, 2012 to make an offer on a property that was a short sale. We did the offer on November 6, 2012, well to be more accurate, I sent her the offer but didn't know what she did with it until I contacted her again two days later. This became a common theme - every time something was done or needed to be done, I had to initiate the conversation. I had to keep checking with her through November and December to make sure things were still moving along. She told me that things were moving along each time I contacted her. The holidays came and went and I didn't hear anything from her for THREE MONTHS. Short sales commonly take up to several months to complete, but the courtesy of an update every month or so would at least let me know that the process was still moving forward. I contacted her in March to see what was going on and she said they were still working on it. Unfortunately, this turned out to be false. I finally received information from the owner, who contacted me with an apology that Terry had "forgotten" to file paperwork with the bank and the offer had expired. I have to assume that this is what happened because all attempts to contact Terry since then have been unsuccessful. It has now been relisted on Zillow for a much higher price on April 27, 2013. Terrible, absolutely terrible. I would never treat a potential buyer like this and I'd expect a lot more from a bank that is trying to help people not get foreclosed upon in these times. This kind of customer service is unacceptable.
